How and where are your ingredients for each product sourced?

Wild and Wonderful Herbal Apothecary LLC takes great pride in not only the land on which it was founded, but also in ensuring that each wild, whole plant is ethically wild crafted by hand from contaminate free areas on private owned land and infused in small batches.  If for any reason an ingredient can not be wild-harvested by Wild and Wonderful Herbal Apothecary LLC due to geographical location or seasonal issue but it is absolutely needed for a formula, it shall be purchased non-gmo and organic from a reputable herb dealer and will be stated as so.  All of our tinctures are made using fresh plant matter and 100 proof Vodka purchased from a local reputable store. The high quality, organic Avocado Oil that is used to create our oils/creams/balms/salves, is purchased from a very reputable company,  Avohass.com

Are any essential oils used in the making of any product on the website?

No, as a personal preference, Wild and Wonderful Herbal Apothecary LLC does not create or  use any essential oils in any of their products.  Our oils contain many different plant constituents, not just their most volatile oils.

Question 3

How long are the oils and tinctures infused for?

All of the oils are infused with dried herbs for no less than 8 weeks at a time, away from the sun but in a warm area for deep, slow, and patient infusion of each plants herbal properties.  Our tinctures are slow infused with fresh plant material for no less than 6 weeks in a cool dark area.

Are your glass jars lead free?

Yes, each jar is lead free and are able to handle certain levels of UV contamination making them ok for light sensitive compounds.

How long do your herbal products last for?

Each herbal product will have a best by date.  However, best by dates are not the same as use by dates.  Many of the offerings on this site are perfectly fine past the 6 month to 2 year best by date.  As always, use discretion.

Only 2 simple ingredients, always.  Fresh, local, wildcrafted plant material and 100 proof Vodka (sourced from a local reputable dealer).

Wild and Wonderful Herbal Apothecary LLC uses its own recipes with formulations/ratios that have been meticulously blended together.  To keep  anyone copying any recipe from Wild and Wonderful Herbal Apothecary LLC, it is the right of the company to not disclose the ingredients of the creams on the website.  The product description will give details as to what it caters to.  The ingredients list is printed on the label of each product/bottle.  Wild and Wonderful Herbal Apothecary LLC does disclose that it uses wildcrafted deer tallow in each cream that it creates/sells.
